Title: On the Same Page: Standardized Blueprints for Lab/Clinical Sections
Description: Transitioning courses with large enrollment to a remote format can seem daunting at first. Creating a standardized blueprint for lab sections can help. Standardized blueprints can increase organization and consistency in large courses with multiple lab or clinical sections. Creating a standardized blueprint provides the course leader with the opportunity to build uniform course sections in Canvas, without building each section individually. By creating a blueprint with course content, assignment submission, and a uniform gradebook course faculty can improve consistency and communication among numerous course sections. Once a blueprint is created, edits, updates, and announcements can be pushed to all sections with ease. In our presentation we will share step-by-step how to create a standardize blueprint and some lessons we’ve learned along the way.
