Abstract: Asynchronous online education designed for the clinical instruction of medical students is a relatively new area of pedagogy. An ophthalmology course was created for the 2020-21 academic year using Articulate Rise software. The target audience was senior medical students at the College of Medicine who plan to pursue a career in primary care. The course is delivered in four weekly modules with interactive video, gamification and self-testing strategies to enhance student engagement. Pre and post course testing data is available as well as student evaluations.Click here to return to the virtual conference agenda page.
